This Week's Bullet Journal Spread and a MAJOR DIY FAIL
This week already feels a little boring. I've started my Graphic Design homework. I've started planning the first get together for the summer. And, I've already finished my first weekly spread for the summer.
I really like the wildflower theme, and I might stick with it for the entire summer. However, It did take a lot longer than my normal spreads, which are fairly boring, usually not featuring much more than my attempt at pretty handwriting. (Though, in the last year, I have gotten a little bit better.) I found the doodle in the corner on Pinterest and I absolutely loved it, so I tried to recreate it.
I also added a cute little quote at the top, as well. It says "Every flower must grow through dirt." Because of my aforementioned lack of pretty handwriting, I tried to add color to make it interesting.
Overall, I'm pleased with the outcome. I really like the amount of color I was able to incorporate! However, a recent DIY endeavor has not gone so well. Using the pieces from two taken apart knife racks, I tried to make my own. It doesn't really work. If I had stronger magnets, It would work, But right now, It does NOT hold a knife. It was a DIY fail.
Sorry for the bad picture, but it was a difficult shot to get!
