How Many DIYs Can I Make Using Only What I Have At Home?

Image
I was really excited for this post. I had been perusing Pinterest for a few DIY ideas for another post, and I realized that there were many DIYs that I'd have to go to the store to make. So I decided to keep looking and make a list of some I wanted to do. Then I tried doing them using only what I had at home. On top of this, I made it a rule that I could not look up any directions or instructions. The projects actually turned out very well. For the first project, I took some small glass jars, and painted them. I added a coat of spray paint to three of the jars, hoping to get a more modern look. I used 120 grit sandpaper to lightly distress the other ones. I really liked the distressed ones.  The next DIY was actually just making something look nicer for my mom. I took an old tray, and painted the inside of it a warm grey. Then I painted the border/handles white, and distressed that with sandpaper as well.  This DIY was literally ...

This Week's Bullet Journal Spread and a MAJOR DIY FAIL

This week already feels a little boring. I've started  my Graphic Design homework. I've started planning the first get together for the summer. (Though, in the last year, I have gotten a little bit  better.) I found the doodle in the corner on Pinterest and I absolutely loved it, so I tried to recreate it.      I also added a cute little quote at the top, as well. It says "Every flower must grow through dirt." Because of my aforementioned lack of pretty handwriting, I tried to add color to make it interesting. Overall, I'm pleased with the outcome. I really like the amount of color I was able to ...

I'm Back!!

It has been such a long time since I've posted. I'll try to make this explanation pretty quick. My Junior Year is finally over, and it was a super busy year. (My schedule was hectic.) On top of my workload, I'm really not the best at managing my time. Hopefully, this will change over the summer. All year I've been looking forward to getting back to my blog, and now that school is out, I can finally do that. This summer should be full of DIYs. (I've been so deprived. Though I did make my friend a guitar stand over break.) Well, goodbye for now!
