School Supplies Haul
Like I said before, school is starting soon. As well as being physically prepared, I have to be mentally prepared. So I start getting my supplies about a month in advance. My Freshman year I wanted everything matching, but it didn't work out. My sophomore year, I wanted everything to be snappy and witty. That worked out, but throughout the school year I've both matured and become girlier, and I wanted matching school supplies. But it couldn't be just any color scheme. I wanted cameo pink, light blue/mint, and rose gold. This year, it worked out!
I just got a basic 1-inch binder, but I found it in the cute blue color at WalMart for under two dollars. They had it in the pink color, but it was a 2-inch, and I did not want a binder that big! The funky shaped thing in the background is also from WalMart and is actually a lunch container that matches the binder. It has a fork and a butter knife and is divided into two sections for a sandwich and a side. I really like it because it is so adorable! Having smashed sandwiches in the bottom of your backpack? Not me! Our school actually has refrigerators for the students to use so it can stay in there as well. The pink triangle is actually a pencil sharpener that looks like an ice cream. I got it for a dollar at WalMart.
I have four standard bound notebooks that I painted my cameo pink. These were leftover from last year because I bought a lot of notebooks. I'm planning on using these for Chemistry, Interior Design, (Yes, I am so excited!!) Algebra 2, and U.S. History.
This is a five subject notebook by Mead.(Yes, I got it at WalMart.) As you can see, it's a decorated one, and it doesn't exactly "go" with the style of the rest of them, but the colors match and it pulls them all together. This one will be used for Woodshop (sounds odd, but we actually have a quite a bit of homework,) and Photography. My English is all online, so I don't exactly need a notebook. If I find myself needing actual paper, I plan on using this one.
Okay, these two are NOT for school, but will probably be going with me. My mom got me the macaron notebook for my birthday because I really like macarons (They're adorable and delicious. I tasted my first fresh macaron for my birthday at an actual French bakery. It was splendid!) I use this all the time for things like notes in church, planning, or lists. The Hello notebook is actually my blogging notebook, but it will probably be coming to school with me just because it matches. And it's wonderful. And it might come in use. This is also from Walmart.
These are the pencils I picked out. They are cheap pencils, but they're cute! They actually write just fine, but the erasers are terrible, so I got some white pencil toppers. Now, they have nice erasers and they can maintain their aesthetic. They were in packs of five for a quarter at WalMart.
In some of the photos, you can see a macaron pencil bag. I got this from Forever 21 a few years ago, but I still really like it, and it matches my stuff, so I decided to use it. I hope y'all can be just as excited for back to school.
